Carolina Brand Board UPDATE-02

Spirits Hive

Spirits Hive is a rebranded healing studio and community that can be found online and in Portugal. 

 

Whenever my client envisioned the creation of this community she saw hexagons. She requested the logo be something that would be small and simple. The 3 different shaped hexagons coming together symbolized the different people in different stages of their journey all coming together to create community. The main logo includes the branded font but the alternative logo is only the hexagons. 

 

For the website we switched from having content on wix, teachable, and etsy to just Kajabi. 

 

Kajabi is an all in one platform which means it hosts your online course, email marketing, membership program, shop, booking calendars, and website all in one place.  

Creative Nature

Stephanie came to me wanting to rebrand into something that was a more authentic expression of her personality. ⁣
⁣
She wanted something artistic, playful, nature-influenced, and show a flair for her love for Spanish culture. ⁣
⁣
Previously named Stream Source we decided to change the name to Creative Nature because this embodied the theme of her classes and workshops that are a journey back to your creativity, connection to nature, and simple living.

The original website was created on WordPress. For the new one we made it on Showit which allows for more creative freedom and lots of unique flair.

Shaughnessy

Shaughnessy is becoming a registered esthetician this summer and she wanted to get her brand started so that when she started offering services she had the platform and an engaged audience ready to book her services.

She had been collecting potential mood board images for a while before we got started working together. There were many different styles, colors, and vibes to choose from. In our brand strategy call, I guided her through a mediation and asked her a number of “this or that” questions, this gave both of us clarity and then I continued to tame her ideas until we landed at what felt right.

The style we came up with encompasses many aspects of her personal style and taste. It has influences of style ranging from the 1920s, French, psychedelic, retro, and luxurious. I think we really hit the target with this one – her brand is an embodiment of all of those.

Passion Pilgrim

Passion Pilgrim is a community that offers breathwork, yin yoga, life coaching, and mala beads. The intention of this community is to create a safe space so people feel safe in their bodies so they can reconnect with the magic of life and experience it more fully. 

When Passion Pilgrim came to me she had tons of diverse inspiration and had a lot of trouble narrowing it down to one look or style. The only specification she had was that it needed to be minimalistic. 

The windblown dandelion was something she lightly mentioned she was attracted too and we decided to go there since it resembles freedom, playfulness, creativity, purity, and trust. These all resonated with her brand values which are discovery, safety, connection, creativity, and real AF. 

The colors were very easy for me to nail down from looking at her personal style and current Instagram. I got a good feel for what colors she sees, wears, and shoots. Then it was a matter of determining the fitting shades.

Potager and Petals

Potager and Petals is a small home gardening business that sells produce and fresh bouquets in the local farmer’s markets. 

This client came to me with a very clear idea of what she wanted. The brand was to be french styled and the brand colors needed to be the same colors as their house. 

We decided on the hat for the emblem for the logo because it was more unique than the normal carrot, flower bouquet, wagon with produce logos that are typically in garden logos. A similar hat could also be a branding item that she could wear in her brand photos and when she sold her goods at the farmers market. This would help build brand recognition and it fit the french vibe as it would make her stand out as a little more sophisticated than most gardeners.

Elaine B. Bikes

Elaine is a professional mountain biker located in the Pacific Northwest. When I initially asked her for a brain dump of all of her favorite things she listed things like old things from a barn, stamped metal, asymmetrical things, 1930’s plaid, patina, rust, dirt, black. 

She was pretty clear on the colors she wanted and she needed a font that was recognizable so that it could be used individually on shirts, flyers, marketing materials, all potential gear would design and sell.  

Originally she wanted a round logo that was a bike cast with a mountain and her name inside. Once I presented her with other options she decided she liked the idea of the round bike chain best since it was a little more unique in her industry. 

Elaine's Website

Elaine came to me with the request to make her website easy to navigate, organized, and playful. She is a professional mountain biking coach and she needed a booking system integrated, a pop-up wavier, and an “Ask Elaine” column to engage all of her readers in outdoor advice and tips. She also wanted a small surprise for the website viewer. I came up with the perfect solution. I added in a feature that when you scroll over certain areas of their are bike chains that have a special motion effect.

Moon Polish Brand Board-01

Moon Polish

Moon Polish is a zodiac nail polish brand. Each nail polish is created with a specific zodiac sign in mind. This brand offers high-quality nontoxic lacquers. Their target audience is females in the United States ages 21 – 32 years old. They requested their brand emits the emotions of feminine, whimsical, fresh, and modern.

Mind Body Colleen

Mind Body Colleen was the first brand I ever created. I was a yoga teacher that wanted to take create an online presence to share my teachings and wisdom. I fell in love with the process of branding which has now transpired to helping people create their unique brands.

My brand has a free-spirited anything is possible kinda vibe. I love the 70s and everything that happened in that decade. When you think of the 70s you may think of things like the counter-culture revolution, freedom, the psychedelic movement, conscious exploration, cross country travel, yoga became popular in the west. The list could go on but so many things from this decade are embodied in my personality and they are reflected embodied in my brand and what I share online.

VitaminSea is a luxury stand – up yoga paddle boarding company based in Maldives. Their ideal client is an American or European women from the ages of 32 – 50 that area seeking a luxury wellness escape. The VitaminSea Resort offers an extremely healthy cuisine and many different spa services for the women to indulge in after a day out on the water.

the Crystal Bazaar

The Crystal Bazaar is an Australian based beauty and wellness shop. Their online store is filled with timeless treasure for conscious humans. They have stunning stone beauty products such as jade rollers, crystal eye masks, gua shas, and high quality gem stone necklace.

This website is a VIBE! I created their online shop on Shopify. Shira, the owner, wanted to make sure it had a luxury sandy bohemian look. There are many different features on this site such as shop this look, product feature, video display, instagram integration, newsletter pop-up, and many more.

Homecoming to your heart is one of the most beautiful things I have experienced in this Kundalini journey.

For me, in the last years, there has been a continual purification, connection, and anchoring back into this part of myself. 

Before I don’t think I ever really knew how distant I was from living from this place. 

I am always teary-eyed and reverent to the way this energy continues to transform me and that it has gifted me the ability to uplift others in this way. ✨👼🏼🐍
