I’m Marieke, a photographer based in Groningen, The Netherlands, working with people, brands and transformative spaces worldwide.

My work is rooted in a deep sensitivity to the body, energy and emotion. Alongside photography, I’m trained in Kundalini Bodywork and de-armouring, which has taught me to see beyond what is simply visible, to notice presence, movement, connection and the subtle moments that often tell the deepest story.

I photograph retreats, ceremonies, trainings and gatherings, as well as personal sessions and brand photography for people who want their images to feel like an authentic reflection of who they are and what they’re here to share.

Fluent in both Dutch and English, I connect easily with diverse teams, communities and individuals, wherever in the world the work takes me.
