Hey there, My name is Colleen
Boho Fashionista

Jetsetter
I found my love for branding and web design when I started my first brand and blog Mind Body Colleen. I loved using digital tools to express my creativity to build my online presence. Time would fly by when I was designing and it always brought me so much effortless joy.
Actually, let me back track. That was my first time designing in the digital space professionally — but I can still remember when I was 12 and friends would call my home phone to ask for help designing their Xanga or MySpace. Yes, I had stylish online platforms back then too.
My first brand felt like I had styled the ultimate staple outfit and I was always ecstatic to go show it off to the world. It felt like a perfect expression of me. I think we can all agree, it feels pretty damn good to feel like your true self.
The brand did more for me than just offer some pretty visuals. It brought me clarity and confidence in so many other aspects of my life, as well. Once I committed to my voice, mission, messaging, and style I was able to get more intentional with who I am and what I give my energy to.
I had a lot of success from creating a strong and consistent brand. From growing my audience, to landing brand collaborations, to getting hired for modeling gigs, to getting my work published in magazines. All of these were possible because I had a clear, consistent, trustable, and visually appealing personal brand.
Branding was such a gift in my life and that’s why I started Studio Shakti. So I can give the same gift to you.

Where did the name come from?

In 2018 I went on a pilgrimage to India. In Rishikesh, I completed my 300hour yoga teacher training at Ananda Prakash Ashram. During this experience I received my spiritual name, Shakti Devi, from my teacher Yogirishi Vishvketu. Shakti Devi refers to Hindu goddess of creativity, power, femininity, and change. The development of Studio Shakti has allowed me to step into my creative self and share my gifts with the world.
